WhenCanILeave is designed to calculate a workday locally on your device. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Information we collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, share, or otherwise receive personal data from the app. WhenCanILeave has no account, server, analytics service, advertising SDK, or cloud synchronization service.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your workplace name, workplace coordinates, geofence radius, work-duration settings, workday arrival and departure times, reminder preferences, and location and notification permission state in local storage on your device. This information is used only to provide the app's workday calculation, workplace geofence, and optional local reminder features.

Location

When you enable automatic detection, the app registers one operating-system geofence for the workplace you configure. The app uses entry and exit events for that geofence to manage your workday. It does not use continuous location updates and does not create a location history. You may also choose to use your current location once while setting the workplace. Location information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or to third parties.

How information is shared

We do not share information with third parties. Because the app has no account or server, we do not hold a copy of your workplace coordinates, work records, or location information. We do not use your information for advertising, analytics, tracking, or any purpose outside the app's on-device functionality.

Your choices

You can withdraw location or notification permission at any time in iOS Settings; withdrawing location permission stops automatic geofence detection. You can delete individual workday entries in the app. To remove all information held by the app, delete the app from your device. As we do not receive or store your information, there is no separate server-side data deletion request to make.
